A bit of rain in the forecast here today, but right now it's coming down lightly enough to not affect the river. The flow has actually dropped overnight so it's at a fishable level. It's actually a good morning and day to have the river to yourself. The state has stocked the river last week with 9,000 trout including some solid rainbows. The stocking of these fish always means the holdovers get more active. Additionally, we will be stocking the big rainbows very soon! Nobody has claimed the Hendrickson gift certificate, yet so make sure you bring those adult Hendricksons in and you might score a few extra bucks to spend.
To step up your fishing game this year, make sure you're enrolled in our Euro Nymphing class with Aaron Jasper tomorrow. Nymphs make up the overwhelming majority of the food chain in the water and it's no surprise you can catch more fish nymphing; bigger fish too! Call the shop to ensure your spot today! Also May 20 & 21 will see Matt Supinski here for his Selectivity Clinic.
