Between the GREAT fishing and the fall colors you won't find a better place to be today! - FALL TIME IS TROUT FISHING TIME!! - CT DEEP stocked 4,100 Survivor Strain Brown Trout in the HOUSY !!! - The cooler water temps and moderately higher flows have the remaining resident and newly stocked trout actively feeding in the TMA. - Anglers coming into the shop are reporting catching some nice sized holdover Rainbows & Browns that made it thru the summer. - Fishing has been great in the Corner Pool, Monument, the Park & the Wall. - Other great spots are Push-em Up, Sand Hole & the Elms. - Trout are putting on the fall feed bag !! - The fish are taking daytime BWO's (Hebe) and evening ISO's on the top!! - The Daytime Soft Hackle and Streamer Bite is still going strong. - With the river flow at 101 CFS it is easy wading almost anywhere in the Housy. - Today is a perfect day to get up here and throw some BH Prince's and Rubber Legs for a bunch of trout !!

Trout are feeding all thru the TMA. - BWO's (Hebe) starting to show during the day. - Iso nymphs are strong swimmers and are very active during the day. -An effective day time technique is to swing soft hackles to sipping rises. - This is a perfect way to imitate swimming Iso nymphs. -  Look for Iso's Emergers and Dries in the evenings. -  Swing streamers for Trout behind exposed boulders in all the deeper riffles & pools. - Streamer fishing is the way to go during daylight hours for bigger fish.
