Happy Labor Day! Yes we are open. Come by and see us, in addition we have a parking lot tag sale with some fishing gear and even a small boat. After yesterday's rain today you can expect flying ants galore! The ISO hatch has also been good so make sure you have some nymphs and dries. These bugs have been on the water by 11am and the fish are rising to them readily. You will also see some sulphurs and BWOs have been seen early this year. Labor Day weekend is here! That means many of you get an extra day in your weekend. Plan a fishing trip up here on the Housy. The cooler temps we are experiencing means you can start your day a little later; let the sun hit the water for just a bit. The state was here stocking yesterday too! Smallies are everywhere in the river, but the riffles are typically the best spots to find them. Trout are also back on the bite with the water temperatures in a safe zone. Lots of great fishing can be found up here this weekend and with good weather forecast.
