The MacKenzie
Xtreme is available in four sizes for lines 7
through 15 wt. The MX uses a "draw-bar"
system which places the star drag adjusting
knob on the frame side. The MX uses very
large spool and arbor diameters
(2.17ò-2.4ò) to maximize the large
arbor advantage. The frame and spool has
extensive porting to achieve a lighter
package while retaining the strength needed
for saltwater big game angling. The MX uses
the patented BAUER "zero-backlash" clutch,
which is 150% larger than M-SuperLite. The MX
drag system is sealed from the elements when
the reel is in use but allows the user quick
and simple servicing
