Shipping and Handling Charges for used, consigned and sale items are as follows: Due to the fact that we ship all product UPS and we insure for the full retail value plus shipping - the policies are now stated - For all rods in the above categories- the minimum shipping and handling charges are $20.00 - for reels in the above categories - the minimum charge is $10.00 for shipping and handling - these amounts can be increased due to insurance costs on collectable and valuable equipment. We also inspect each rod again after payment is made - if there are any issues with the rod - the rod will not be shipped and we will forward a full refund. There will be no exceptions - If you have any questions regarding the shipping and handling costs of any particular item - please contact the shop - either by email, fax or phone. |
We have an excellent array of used and antique fishing and sporting equipment. This merchandise is always changing, so we will do our best to keep these pages updated with the latest inventory in stock. Please respect the prices placed on the following items and do not haggle. This merchandise has been priced fairly and if you at some point choose to sell merchandise with us you will understand. Payment Policy for items $500 value or greater - We have changed our payment policy for the used/antique and consigned equipment - we will only accept credit card payments for a 50% deposit to hold equipment (We will hold equipment for 10 days) - Full Payment must be made within 10 days by Cashier's Check, Bank Check or Personal Check - As soon as the payment clears - we will credit back your credit card the deposit and mail out the equipment. We also inspect each rod again after payment is made - if there are any issues with the rod - the rod will not be shipped and we will forward a full refund. There will be no exceptions. We have implemented this policy in order to guarantee payment to consigners. All sales are final unless the equipment is damaged during shipping, there is an issue with the rod or the equipment has been mis-stated - no exceptions.

Just in - R. L. Winston Rod Company - A San Francisco Era Bamboo Fly Rod - Circa 1961 - Made by Doug Merrick 7 foot - 6 inch - 4 weight - 2 piece - 2 tips - 3 1/8oz - Serial Number 9411 - All Original in superb condition - One Caveat - One of the tips was made by Glen Bracket in 1982 - So one tip is original from 1961 - and one tip was replaced by Glen - the rod is in marvelous condition - beautifully wrapped and shows almost no use - These San Francisco Rods are very hard to come by - especially in this condition - check out the Pictures - Non Original Case - Price $2500.00

Just in - Thomas & Thomas - TNT - Caenis - 7 foot - 3 weight - 2 tips - in Excellent almost Mint condition - Serial #2457 - What a rod - light blond cane - slightly swelled butt - delicate straight tips - all original - no repairs - straight - ferrules tight - one owner - custom made when Tom Maxwell and Tom Dorsey were both building rods for TNT - this rod is a real treasure - One of a kind - Original Case and Sock - Price $3,500.00

Just in - Dickerson #8014 - 8 foot - 2 piece - 2 tips - made in 1952 - 99% sure it is a hollow built (he did make a few) - that has been confirmed by our local bamboo rod specialist. All original - beautifully wrapped - beautiful hardware and cork - all original - no repairs - solid and straight - ferrules are nice and tight - the varnish needs some tender loving care - but that can easily be taken care of by a good rod maker. Non-original case and sock - these are not easy to come by. Price $6,000.00

Just in - Paul Young - Parabolic Fly Rod - 8 foot - 4oz - 2 piece - 2 tips made in 1958 - this is the first parabolic from Young I have ever seen and this rod can cast - in very good condition - has been refinished - other than that all original - both tips are full length - and straight - correct stamp on the butt cap - ferrules are nice and tight - non-original case and sock. Price $2,200.00

Just in - Beane Double L - Edwards Rod - Made by Edwards - 8 foot - 6 inch - 3 piece - 2 tips - in good condition - all original - comes with original leather case - and sock - this rod is ready to go and fish - Price - $400.00
Just in - Beane - Trout Rod - made by Edwards ( I am pretty sure) - 7'6" - 2 piece - 2 tips - good condition - all original - comes with original sock - both tips are full length and pretty straight - price - no case - Price $500.00
Just in - E.W. Edwards "Deluxe" - 8 footer - 3 piece - 2 tips - each tip is short - one is 23 1/2" - the other is 29 3/4 - instead of 32 inches - how do I -describe this rod - it is not in great shape - it is not in bad shape - It would be in good shape if it were not for the 2 short tips and the shaved edges of the reel seat - also the butt section has scratches which need to be re-varnished - the reel needs to be re-varnished - I would personally have it all redone - the hardware is in very good shape and it comes with original sock, tube and label - you might even want to have a tip redone - rods like these are hard to describe - they are a good buy - but they are not for the collector - Price $500.00
