Shipping and Handling Charges for used, consigned and sale items are as follows: Due to the fact that we ship all product UPS and we insure for the full retail value plus shipping - the policies are now stated - For all rods in the above categories- the minimum shipping and handling charges are $20.00 - for reels in the above categories - the minimum charge is $10.00 for shipping and handling - these amounts can be increased due to insurance costs on collectable and valuable equipment. We also inspect each rod again after payment is made - if there are any issues with the rod - the rod will not be shipped and we will forward a full refund. There will be no exceptions - If you have any questions regarding the shipping and handling costs of any particular item - please contact the shop - either by email, fax or phone. |
We have an excellent array of used and antique fishing and sporting equipment. Payment Policy for items $500 value or greater - We have changed our payment policy for the used/antique and consigned equipment - we will only accept credit card payments for a 50% deposit to hold equipment (We will hold equipment for 10 days) - Full Payment must be made within 10 days by Cashier's Check, Bank Check or Personal Check - As soon as the payment clears - we will credit back your credit card the deposit and mail out the equipment. We also inspect each rod again after payment is made - if there are any issues with the rod - the rod will not be shipped and we will forward a full refund. There will be no exceptions. We have implemented this policy in order to guarantee payment to consigners. All sales are final unless the equipment is damaged during shipping, there is an issue with the rod or the equipment has been mis-stated - no exceptions.

Just in - Phillipson - 7 foot - 6 inch - 5 weight - 2 piece - 2 tip - in spectacular condition - I have one of these and it the bamboo rod I fish with most - the perfect bamboo rod for any small stream - all original - aluminum reel seat - no repairs - both tips straight - original case and sock - Grab this one Price - $700.00
Just in - Heddon Deluxe - #35 - 8 foot - 6 inch - HCH or D Line - in excellent shape/almost mint - 3 piece - non-original tube - The nicest Heddon I have seen in a while - Price $400.00
Just in - William Mills & Son - Deluxe - Standard - 8 foot - 6 inch - probably a 5 weight -3 piece - in excellent condition - gold and yellow wraps - light cane - very delicate - looks to ball original and the finish is in excellent condition - both tips are full length - I am not sure if the case is original - I am never sure with the Mills's rods - they came in some many different cases - it is a beauty -original stamps on reel cap - Price $850.00
Just in - Pezon & Michel Ritz Super Parabolic Longcast Type C - 8 foot 7 weight - 2 piece - 2 tips - 6oz in spectacular condition - all there - the ferrule plug - hardware - the writing - WOW - these rods cast like a dream - original sock - not sure about the case - Price $700.00
Just in - Folsom - #1510 - 8 foot - 6 inch - this rod was made by Heddon - 3 piece - 2 tips full lenth - all original - in Very Good condition - Pretty sure original case and Sock - however could be an Edwards Case - Price $400.00
Just in - Thoroughbred Fly Rod - 9 foot 6/7 weight - 3 piece - 2 tips - No. 0095 - made in Denver - all there - in original tube - both tips full length - Price $300.00
Just in - Wright & McGill - 8'6" - I think a 6/7 weight - very good condition - maybe refinished - I think an Aristocrat - no writing on the rod - varnish in excellent condition which leads me to believe it was refinished - Not sure about tube and sock - Price $300.00
Just in - HL Leonard - Special Tournament - 9 foot - 3 piece - 2 tips - Older Rod - probably a rod from the 30's - in spectacular condition - agate stripping guide - agate tip tops - both tips are full length and do not have issues - nice swelled butt for power - Does not look refinished and has the original hardware - this is an excellet example of the tournament line of bamboo rods from Leonard - I am guessing around a 6 weight - the ferrules are tight and comes with original sock and tube - a really nice rod - the stampes are fully legible on the butt cap - Leonard Logo on one side and the Special Tournament on the other - Price $1,400.00
Just in - HL Leonard - Glass Fly Rod - LEF80 - 8 foot - 2 piece - tip - 6/7 wt in very good condition - however - it looks like the previous owner applied a coating of nail polish over the wrapping on some of the guides - I would have removed and redone - you can tell it was made with the same care as the bamboo rods - very nicely built - looks to be all original and other than the application of something - is in excellent condition. Price $200.00
Just in - HL Leonard - 42H - 9 foot - 2 piece - 2 tips - H.L. Leonard - 42H Bamboo Fly Rod - 9 foot - 8/9 weight - 2 piece - 2 tips - all original - it does not look re-finished at all - both tips are very nice and full length and nice - nice blond cane - serial # 3547 - no issues with the rod - ferrules are tight - I like these Leonards and this one is perfect for any salmon river you would like to fish on - casts like a champ and has enough oomph for almost any salmon or heavy trout conditions. I am not sure of the exact weight of the rod - the label on the rod tube is not clear for that bit of information. Comes with sock and original tube. Non agate stripping guide. Price - $1,200.00
Just in - Orvis Battenkill - 7 foot - 6 inch - 6 weight - 2 piece - 2 tips - Serial # 52487 - 3 7/8 oz - Just the Classic Orvis Bamboo Rod - actually throws a 5wt double taper like a champ - in Very Good Condition - This is the benchmark - New England small stream bamboo rod - full length - all original - both tips in great condition - no repairs - shows usual wear - these are the fishing rods of the bamboo world - comes with original bag and case - Price $700.00 SOLD
Just in - Orvis Battenkill - 8 foot - 7 weight - 2 piece - 2 tips - Serial # 39422 - 4 3/8 oz - Excellent Condition - A heavier rod than the one listed above - built for larger streams or fishing out of a boat - has the backbone to toss streamers and wet flies in mid-large rivers - full length - both tips in great condition - made in 1965 - comes with original case not sure about the bag - Price $600.00

Leonard - 40H Bamboo Fly Rod - 8 foot - 7 weight - casts a 6wt double taper better - 2 piece - 2 tips - all original - it does not look re-finished at all - both tips are very nice and full length and nice - nice blond cane - serial # 2854 - no issues with the rod - ferrules are tight - I like these Leonards and this one is perfect for any medium river you would like to fish on - casts like a champ and has enough oomph for almost any conditions. The rod weighs 4 3/8 oz and comes with sock and original tube. Non agate stripping guide and the stamp is very legible on the butt cap. Price $1,200.00 SOLD
Just in - H.L. Leonard Bamboo Bait Casting Rod - 5 feet 4 1/2 inches but I did seat it to tight - butt section is 26" - the tips are 39 inches each and straight - all original - not refinished - one tip top has a split - which I have pictured - a bamboo rod building friend of mine will supply a new one - not exact but for replacent - all original hardware - Leonard stamp on the reel seat - there are patent dates on the butt ferrule - which look to be late 1800's - I know the patent stamps make it an older rod. It looks like only rod tip was really fished - they are both original - and my friend told me that was often the case with the rods. Agate Stripping Guides - I am not an expert on the older Leonard Bait casting rods - so I hope I have included enough information. This one has the original case and sock - you almost never get the original sock with these older rods. Price - $300.00 SOLD
Just in -Shakespeare - Tony Accetta Model - #1307 9 foot - 3 piece - 2 tips - 7 weight in Very Good/Good Condition - both tips are full length - the rod is in very good condition - looks all original and has not been refinished - it needs a bit of a cleaning - but that is pretty much - Ferrules are nice and tigh - this would make a really nice fishing rod - comes with original sock and tag, tip protector but no case - Price $250.00 SOLD
Just in - E.W. Edwards "Deluxe" - 8 footer - 3 piece - 2 tips - each tip is short - one is 23 1/2" - the other is 29 3/4 - instead of 32 inches - how do I -describe this rod - it is not in great shape - it is not in bad shape - It would be in good shape if it were not for the 2 short tips and the shaved edges of the reel seat - also the butt section has scratches which need to be re-varnished - the reel needs to be re-varnished - I would personally have it all redone - the hardware is in very good shape and it comes with original sock, tube and label - you might even want to have a tip redone - rods like these are hard to describe - they are a good buy - but they are not for the collector - Price $500.00

#25 - Just in - Heddon #20 - Trout Rod - 9'6" - 3 piece - 2 tips - one is 3" short - refinshed in good condition - all original hardware - this is an older rod and is the perfect tool to cast Carrie Stevens Streamers in your favorite lake/pond in your favoritie boat - original sock and tube - Price $200.00
#38 - Just in - Divine Rod Co. - 9'6" - 3 piece - 5/6 weight - in Very Good Condition - the rod has been beautifully re-finished with intermediate wraps and both tips are 1-½" short - but in otherwise perfect condition - this rod is rather whippy - so it deserves an experienced bamboo caster - comes with original sack - the tube is not original - $300.00
